Busy, Busy, Busy!

Wow! What a busy summer I have had....I went to the Outter Banks for a week with my Grandpa and Granma Alla a few weeks ago and boy did we have fun. I ate lots of sand (I even inhaled some when I teetered over MaMa's lap face first into the sand - it was ok once I barffed it all up). The waves were really BIG thanks to Hurricane Bill, so I only splashed in the water a little bit. My Daddy had a good time surfing and fishing though. Grandpa even went fishing and caught some fish! Mama and Grandma Alla lounged on the beach and played with me in the sand.

Lets see what else is new...I am an expert crawler and even have the Tshirt to prove it! I like pulling up on anything that stays still long enough including the dogs. Zara almost took me for a ride the other day. I found my voice which oddly enough sounds like a Banshee when I get excited. I also have a tooth after a few rough days and nights.

My Uncle Robby (who will now be known as Bee Bob) and my Uncle Tim came to see me. They are fun! My Uncle Andy is coming to see me in October, so I am looking forward to that! I guess that is all that is new around here, but Mama asures me there is a lot more fun to come as the Holidays approach.

A Play Date With Griff

Today my buddy Griff came over for a play date. We had fun chill-axin' on the couch watching Noggin and palying on the floor.

My First Day @ the Beach!

Mom & Dad took me to folly Beach in Charleston last weekend and we had a blast! My aunties Em & Rachael and my uncles Michael came too. I liked playing in the water, but those wave things are totally over rated. They kind of freaked me out.

I likes hanging out with mom and the girls on the sand while the guys went swimming. We played and had snacks. There was so much going on I didn't know what to do with myself. Ultimately I passed out in the car and slept the whole way home! What a day!!!! I can't wait until I get to go to the beach with my grandpa woody & grandma alla for a whole week.

Gigglemania

Hey Everyone!

Sorry it has been a while sice my last post, but I have been so busy. I have discovered my voice and love to make all kinds of noises from giggles to squeels to doggy language. Some of my newest tricks are: taking my binky in & out of my mouth, rollong over(mostly by accident), carrying on conversations with Drake, bouncing like a mad woman in my jungle jumper and pushing up to standing.

Last week mom let me eat some new goopy stuff she calls rice cereal. I like to play with it more than eat it. Rumor on the street is ... pretty soon I get to start eating more interesting things like vegetables. Yum!!!!

I also went to the lake for the first time. We all went to my auntie Kristy's house last Sunday, but my dad wouldn't let me get in the water. I still had fun hanging out in my bikini with all the girls. Hopefully next time I will get to try splashing around in the water.

I Survived My First Cold

Despite my cold there were a few good pictures taken over the last week... I'm a big girl now I want to sit up all the time.

I know I'm adoreable!

It was a rough week around my house....

Mommy was sick on Sunday and Monday, so she wasn't very much fun. Just as soon as she started feeling better I started getting sick. My nose was runny and I couldn't breathe good and I felt like I was on fire. The gooey stuff in my nose made drinking a bottle very hard and frustrating. Mom and Grammy took me to see Dr. Laura on Friday, just to make sure I didn't have an ear infection or something worse than a cold. My ears were clear, so the verdict was: its just a head cold and we would all have to suffer through it. The next day was Daddy Day (Saturday) and sure enough he started feeling sick too. I tried really hard not to get him sick, but he just loves my kisses so much it was hard to resist. Of course he thought he had the Swine Flu or something. Mommy says, he does have a flair for the dramatics you know.Today is Monday and I think we are all on the mend now. I never knew it was so hard being sick. I sure hope that doesn't happen again.
